Women In Art

Amanda Lynn & Lady Mag “Amative” 8x10
SOLD

In observance of International Women’s Day, Ethos Gallery is proud to host an all women’s Art Exhibition.

The woman is the embodiment of creative power. This is evident in her ability to give birth, the ultimate manifestation of creativity on the planet. She is divine, beautiful, and powerful, and through her emergence into the worlds of art, business, and leadership, the world is being restored to its original state of peace and harmony.

The new age into which we have now entered represents many shifts in consciousness, one being the end of the patriarchal system and the resurgence of the Matriarch, the feminine energetic power on the Earth...Mother Earth, that is. Ethos Gallery honors this transition, and supports the great “Adi Shakti”, the feminine force that is the source of all creativity.

The works presented represent empowering art from women including paintings, photography, sculpture and video installation.

Women featured in this exhibition are: DEY YOUNG, LYDIA EMILY, TANYA MIKAELA, AMANDA LYNN, LADY MAG, ANNIE PREECE, SANDRA GERSHON, GLOW, ORIELA MEDELLIN, MAAT TROY, AMELIA ALCOCK-WHITE AND JESSICA SEELEY

Create Peace with Art

These gorgeous works of art by Robert Sturman are actually polaroids from his trip to India. By warming the film in the sun, Sturman manipulates the image with a tool giving it this underwater effect. He is rated the #1 artist in the yoga community, his monk series being one of his best.

These energetically charged pieces generate a calming energy, and will add a peaceful vibe to any home or office. They have been holding the space here at Ethos since we opened, and can attest to the power of their presence.

“Five Elements” by Wu De And Brandon Boyd Of Incubus

 “Five Elements” collaboration artwork
Left to right: Brandon Boyd (Incubus) & Wu De (Tea Master)

Recently, Brandon Boyd of the internationally known rock band Incubus, and Tea Master Wu De came together to collaboratively work on a piece of art they named Five Elements. They held a show and auctioned off this piece of art a few nights ago at Ethos Art Gallery on Melrose Ave in Hollywood. All proceeds for the event went to charity. Here is what they had to say about the experience.

“The five elements are essential to Chinese cosmology from ancient to present. They influence almost all far eastern traditional art, medicine, music and life ways. They are Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood”. – Wu De

“Working with Wu De on this “Five Elements” piece was a true pleasure. Our styles, though different, seemed to compliment each other here. We both knew that we had channeled something cool when after having finished it, neither of us could stop looking at it. It has a hypnotic effect!”  -Brandon Boyd
There are 100 prints available for $250 online at the Ethos Art Gallery website right HERE! You can also purchase a print by going to Ethos Art Gallery on Melrose Ave in Hollywood. Prints are extremely limited, and they are going extremely fast! Get yours before they are all gone! The prints are printed on Giclee print on archival paper 20 x 24.
