“Five Elements” by Wu De And Brandon Boyd Of Incubus

Recently, Brandon Boyd of the internationally known rock band Incubus, and Tea Master Wu De came together to collaboratively work on a piece of art they named Five Elements. They held a show and auctioned off this piece of art a few nights ago at Ethos Art Gallery on Melrose Ave in Hollywood. All proceeds for the event went to charity. Here is what they had to say about the experience.

“The five elements are essential to Chinese cosmology from ancient to present. They influence almost all far eastern traditional art, medicine, music and life ways. They are Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood”. – Wu De

“Working with Wu De on this “Five Elements” piece was a true pleasure. Our styles, though different, seemed to compliment each other here.
